As we do before most wedding days, we intently watched the forecast to see what the weather would be like for this couple’s outdoor Lake of the Ozarks wedding. A few days before the big day, thunderstorms were in the forecast (an 80% chance!).
Needless to say, we prayed and we prayed HARD for the meteorologists to be very, VERY wrong (no offense weather.com). Boy, were we glad that turned out to be the case! Right after the wedding ceremony was over, we saw the rain/mist across the lake. We rushed and hurried fast to try and squeeze in a few outdoor family shots. Little did we know . . . the weather had plans of its own. The rain held off until the very last moment possible second. We were literally taking the last picture of the day (outside) and we felt a raindrop. We all cheered! What an incredibly God-blessed wedding-weather day!
This couple truly deserved the day they got. They were sweet, genuine and madly in love. Mr. and Mrs. Pearon, thank you for allowing us to share in your very special day!
Our wish for you: May the good Lord always be at the heart of your marriage, a light in your home and a constant presence in your life together. Congratulations from d-Squared Designs!
Instead of the traditional unity candle or sand ceremony. . . this couple chose to do a time capsule. Each put notes into this tiny box and they plan on opening them in many years to come to remind them of their feelings for each other on this very special day. How sweet!
